I’m trying to remember the last time we had a good thunderstorm? Not hurricane related or spawning tornadoes, but just a good thunderstorm that filled up the sky till it looked like night, shook the houses with mighty thunder and washed the Earth with a good downpour.

The trip to New York was an amazing experience, though we were thrilled to be back home and back with the kids.

We had the opportunity to visit parts of Central Park and our guide that my husband’s company had hired, showed us some gardens that was in the area and this was a path that was off to the side of one of the gardens.

It’s easier said than done with the rise in both gas prices, groceries and just about everything else to not panic….yet, but we have found as we’ve had to cut back on a lot of the errands and even just “luxuries” that we were use to like, eating out once a week and just where we traveled too, of what was really important and what were just wants that fill up empty time slots and empty souls.
