Current Book Study

Current Book/Bible Study

Current Book or Bible studies will be post here with general information of how to participate; Where to get the book and other relevant information.

Listed are online and personal Bible/Book Topical Studies that I have participated or even led at one point or time. For me, book studies are different from reading the bible, or studying about the bible and I try to keep in heart, the words (as paraphrased) from this wonderful post,”How Bible Study Differs from Bible Reading“:

“…..Bible reading and Bible study are both important, but different. In order to grow, you need to read the Bible every day as part of your time with God — your devotions or quiet time…..Bible study, as opposed to reading, concentrates on a single topic, Bible character, or book of the Bible for closer study…..It’s possible to be so engrossed in Bible study that you forget the most important purpose of Bible study. It’s not Bible knowledge for its own sake nor being able to quote verses and recite orthodox doctrine. Ultimately, the purpose of Bible study is to learn exactly what the Bible teaches so that you can apply its teachings to your life.”

Final reminder via ProBlogger.com, My advice to those commenting on blogs (not just mine) is that in a sense you’re visiting someone else’s home when you leave a comment. Comments have the ability to build up or tear down your reputation. They are a permanent record of who you are and what you stand for – so take care – be gracious – make sure they add value (not only to the blog you’re visiting but also to your own online profile).
