simple-woman-daybook-largeFOR TODAY

Outside my window…

It’s quiet….it’s night….there had been sporadic rain showers throughout the day, and it was needed rain, for the plants…for the garden. I think I’m more of a rainy day person, but then again….I wonder if people who feel that way, change their mind if it was raining more than usual?

I am thinking…

Other than about the rain…..I want to find a fun coffee cup…on top of the million coffee cups I already have, but there was one that caught my attention and the funny thing about that is that it seems the one I would really like to have, is always the hardest one to find….

I am thankful…

For our Father in Heaven, for His Son, Jesus Christ,, For the Bible, for my husband, and family and friends and for coffee….

In the kitchen…

Everything is clean…dishes are put up…dinner was good..though looking forward to this weekend, of spending it with new friends…they invited us over for ribs and homemade macaroni and cheese so question is what type of dessert should we bring over…

I am creating…

Some planner printables in my planner while also planning out some future projects to work on; I still love the feel and use of paper and in the process, have discovered a world out there of people who are using their Filofaxes in so many different and creative ways…I love the look of the art journals and creative planners that I have recently discovered via the internet.

I am going…

to sleep after posting this…lol..its been a long but fun and good day; A good crop of tomatoes are coming out and the birds seem to be more prolific as we’ve groomed the plants in the yards to prayfully encourage more wildlife in the area…It’s a small drop in the bigger ocean of what can be done.

I am wondering…

Why one of the jasmines haven’t been growing as well as it should. In the meantimee, wishing that the clouds would ease up so we can see some more of the stars in the next few night.

I am reading…

“Anything” for the current bible study that is hosted by Good Morning Girls and working through the book with a great accountability partner.

I am hoping…

To come up with an effective “Master List” or “To Do List” to work through the many project ideas I  have come up lately but need to prioritize in a more efficient manner.

I am looking forward to..

the weekend and spending it with new friends.

I am learning…

a lot more about plants than I realized and its open up to what is actually a pretty interesting world…at the same time…its been wonderful waking up in the morning to the site of the garden…there are still some ups and downs and we are still on a learning curve, but it has been so worth it.

Around the house…]

It’s  been quiet lately and mostly focus on the garden, the weather…on life..

I am pondering…

at the end of the day as the evening slowly softens and we go to sleep and on the other side of the world, its just starting a new day, how easy it is to be so caught up in the small things and forgetting to appreciate the bigger things in life.

A favorite quote for today…

“Be a child again. Flirt. Giggle. Dip your cookies in your milk. Take a nap. Say you’re sorry if you hurt someone. Chase a butterfly. Be a child again.”~Max Lucado

One of my favorite things…

Japanese stickers…they are cute…fun and really dress up scrapbooks and just any project.
