Do you remember these?
The, “Choose Your Own Adventure” books that were at one time published (and are they even still available out there, somewhere?

I stumbled over these, via Pinterest, of course, and talk about bringing me back to memory lane, though as I looked over the titles, there were quite a few, that somehow, I never saw at my library or at the bookstore.

Some ways, I wonder how or if these could translate well via e-readers, but then, I would miss the,”fun” of skipping to alternate endings or choices that could be made.

Love to hear from those who have read any (or all of these) and what were your favorite adventures?

Thank you for posting about this because I needed the reminder to go get some of these at our local library! I never read these, but my husband did and he thinks our children will love them.

      Nikki,

I think they would really enjoy them; It makes reading a lot more fun and lets the kids feel more a part of the story.

I do remember them. I did not love reading when I was young…I only do occasionally now. Did you know there is a history series that uses the same format?

I had no idea there were a history series like this. What is the name of the series?? Sounds like it would be fun to get!

They are called, “You Choose: An Interactive History Adventure.” Our local library has quite a few of them. Rainbow Resource as well as many other sellers have the series in stock.

It has been too many years! But yes, I remember them! My son occasionally comes home with one. He doesn’t seem as excited about them as I was!
