90-Day Devotional90-Day Devotional by AIO Team

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Adventures in Odyssey has created an eye catching devotional, that is great for parents looking for a short term devotional to get children into the Bible and learning basic principles about the Christian Faith.

Filled with thirteen weeks of devotionals, eye catching sidebars and relevant anecdotes that “kids” between the ages of 9-13, will be able to relate and filled with pictures, puzzles, and special ideas to keep kids attentions, I really liked the setup of the “90-Day Devotional” that makes either a fun family time addition, home school curriculum and encouragement to develop a better, bible reading and study habit.

The softcover and eye catching front page, really helps draw kids in, the pages within, are usually, one or two pages of devotions that’s enough to keep the kid’s interest and not bore them to quickly at the same time.

Both the scripture and memory verses, with topical chapters, helped make this easy for me and the kids to work through and in case of questions, easy for the kids to look up on their own.

Adventures in Odyssey is a family friendly name that is familiar in many households, so for them to have released a devotional like this was pretty exciting since this is a name that can be trusted and kids were aware about their programs.

It helped make teaching, learning and engaging in a time devoted just to reading and studying the bible, not only easier but more fun for the kids, and its hoped that future titles will soon be released under the Adventures in Odyssey name.

What I liked the most, is it deals with topics in a way that, the subject matter doesn’t go over the kid’s heads, doesn’t talk down to them, and at the same time, still challenges and encourages, like a devotional should do for any reader.

This is a great devotional book for kids, in that it really helps keep the kids engaged and excited to work through each day.
