Remember the,”Little Golden Books”?

They’re still around, even today!

As much as I love the convenience of e-books, it doesn’t replace the memories of laying on the floor and going through childhood books; The sound of the pages turning and for the older books that were in the collection, that aged smell, that marked old books.

One book in particularly that often comes to mind, here and there, is a Walt Disney™ book called, “Grandpa Bunny” which is about, well bunnies, nature and the seasons.

Grandpa Bunny This books is e one of my many favorites and filled with rich colors….oh the memories it brings back.

Originally published in 1951 and brought back by Walt Disney™, each page, this children’s book, featured Grandpa Bunny teaching the next generation, how to paint nature with rich colors and in the end, leaving the greatest masterpiece for the bunnies to enjoy.

It is a book that I’ve seen the, “Little Golden Books™” brought back and something that I have enjoyed sharing with my kids ,naturally with hopes and prayers that one day, they will share with their kids.

How about you….

What were your favorite, “Little Golden Books™ and do you still have any, that you’ve kept, even now?

I have those memories too. I have collected Little Golden Books from my childhood, from my son’s and have added to that through garage sales etc. Just ordered the book you recommended.
