February 2012-Scripture Memorization-Come Join Me!

It’s hard to believe that February is now here.

So begins a new month and if you haven’t had a chance to join us for memorizing scripture or just been busy, would love to hear from you and to have you join us this month.

Memorizing scripture, like anything else, is a discipline, be it memorizing a poem, or whatever it is that you are working on, but the best way to do so, is to either start small or find out from the many great tips that are out there, to work on scripture memorization.

If you’re like me, you might find memorizing even your own phone number a great feat, but no matter what it is, don’t give up…start small and just work at the pace that works for you.

If you would like to join me and others in memorizing scripture for February 2012, grab the February 2012 participation badge that is on the right sidebar, post about it on your facebook, twitter or blog to spread the word and more than anything, leave a link to your blog here!

Each Saturday on the Facebook page, we would do a weekly check-in to see how each other are doing, post words of encouragement and prayers and tips and advice to help with memorizing that can be help not only with just scripture, but hopefully, anything you are wanting to memorize!

I got one verse down really good last month and I have started a second for February. I guess if I get one a month that is better than none! Thanks for the inspiration!

    • Monica,

      Yeah! That’s good!

Lol..Its the same with me…one a month it seems, but its such a reminder though too..that we have busy lives but just think..even if it’s one verse a month…you’ll still have learn 12 verses by the end of the year more than last year…so a positive there.

What a terrific idea, how has this been going? I wish I came here earlier, I think having a community would motivate me to reading and memorizing more.

    • Sandra,

It is going good but such a reminder of how we can get so busy that we end up being too busy, lol.

Like Monica, I’m finding, one a month works great, lol, but it helps having a community to just encourage one another and motivate us that no matter what..to keep moving forward.

Would love to have you join us!
