Fearful-An Internet Cafe Devotions Post

Our Heavenly Father has a sense of humor. I’m convinced of it and not because of the platypus or my pet dog, but in the blessed way He answers prayers. He isn’t necessarily safe and assuring, but his answers provoke growth and good in us.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” (Proverbs 3:5)

Being a follower of Christ isn’t for the weak-hearted; this is not a faith that we can easily hide in the closet and hide from the world. We are called to go out in the world and be God’s ambassadors.
