My Thoughts
Maybe it’s because I have a bit of sarcastic humor, but reading, “Stuff Christians Like” by Jonathan Acuff, it’s hard not to laugh at the humor that is shared and sometimes cringe a little and think….”Ooooo..do I do that”?.
Very light reading and humorous, I enjoyed the change of pace that “Stuff Christians Like” had to offer and the reminder that not everything in life is to be taken too seriously.
Yes, Salvation should be, but we are also blessed with a life to enjoy too and laughing is one way to do so.
Though there maybe moments one may think, “Hey I do that” or “That’s not funny”…it’s a reminder sometimes we have to take a step back and just laugh at ourselves as well.
If you are looking for a fun read to break the monotony, I suggest you get “Stuff Christians Like” by Jonathan Acuff and laugh at the both funny and sometimes, introspective look at the “Stuff Christians Like”.
