FOR TODAY:p>

  • Outside my window…Mostly cloudy skies and a light wind but loving the view of the butterfly bush, that hubby and the kids got me for Mother’s Day.
  • I am thinking…What else do I need to work on for homeschool (always a project going on though, lol).
  • I am thankful for…Our Heavenly Father, He is constant, a firm rock to hold on to.
  • From the learning rooms…We’re finishing up a phonics book, doing a mini-civics lesson and the kids love Bill Nye, so watching and discussing the “Food Web” today.
  • From the kitchen…Coffee and homemade banana bread
  • I am wearing…Light peach color top and a skirt today.
  • I am creating…Pumpkin lapbook and observation workbook since oldest science project will be raising a pumpkin this year.
  • I am going…clean up the kitchen later today, work on homeschool projects, I have a book to read/review.
  • I am reading…O Me of Little Faith that I’m reviewing for a book tour
  • I am hoping…Strength, but particularly humbling discernment and encouragement.I am hearing…
  • Around the house…Quiet save the sound of a medium wind blowing outside…very relaxing.
  • One of my favorite things…COFFEE! LOL
  • A few plans for the rest of the week: We are starting a new unit on time and finishing up reading some Rocket Readers before it gets passed down to the youngest who wants to learn how to read.
  • Scripture thought for the Day….“Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.” (Matthew 18:15)
