FOR TODAY

  • Outside my windowthe sky is cloudy and likely to rain, and enjoying the sweet smell of before the rain.
  • I am thinking…of our Father’s grace, coffee and what I need to put together for school this week
  • I am thankful for…being saved in and through Jesus Christ, the bible to develop and maintain that relationship, my family, fellowship and coffee
  • From the learning roomsfinishing up a workbook, reading, science and social studies and I need to put together some lapbooks
  • From the kitchen…coffee and strawberry strudel
  • I am wearing…a simple skirt and matching top.
  • I am creating..lapbooks this week, charts to be used and posters
  • I am going..to have to clean up the kitchen better later today, we had a crawfish boil yesterday, courtesy of a close friend.
  • I am reading…Fixing to start a John MacArthur book called “Hard to Believe”; Thankfully caught up with my book reviews/reading, but nothing new there to read.
  • I am hoping…some doors to be open in much needed places but also my heart to understand if our Father decides to say no or nothing at all and remember always, HE knows better than we do of what works in His plan. Not about us…it’s about Him.
  • I am hearing…patience and hope…things will work out.
  • Around the house…not that dirty but it could be better (sounds like a busy mom eh? lol)
  • One of my favorite things…coffee…lol.
  • A few plans for the rest of the week: school, plus I have a special post I’ve been working and tweaking on to post.
  • Scripture thought for the day….:

Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and shun evil. This will bring health to your body and nourishment to your bones.

Proverbs 3:7-8 (NIV)
