FOR TODAY

  • Outside my window…it is a beautiful rainy day
  • I am thinking…what we have planned for school, extended family member who is still in the hospital
  • I am thankful for…our Heavenly Father and His strength and Love
  • From the learning rooms…we’re implementing a modified version of workboxes, reading today and science/art
  • From the kitchen…chai tea is simmering to be made for sipping on during class (kids get hot chocolate, lol)
  • I am wearing…warm clothes for it went from nice to chilly again
  • I am creating…nothing at the moment; I lost my knitting needles and need to wait for hubby to help me move the furniture to get it.
  • I am going…to the classroom in a bit to start  school
  • I am reading…Restoration Road by Mitch Ruse
  • I am hoping…for bettter news about family member, God’s leading and encouragement
  • I am hearing…He is faithful and working always though it’s not in our time frame, it’s for His Good and Glory and He never abandons.
  • Around the house…Laundry is almost (is it ever done?) done, and rain is falling outside.
  • One of my favorite things…rain
  • A few plans for the rest of the week: Usual-School and just seeing how the rest of the week unfolds right now
  • Scripture thought for the Day….

34 When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me. 35 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it. 36 For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? 37 Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? (Mark 8:34-37, New King James Version)

Comments have the ability to build up or tear down your reputation. They are a permanent record of who you are and what you stand for – so take care – be gracious – make sure they add value (not only to the blog you’re visiting but also to your own online profile).
