New Year is almost here

Like many, we are preparing to ring in the New Year, but with close family.
For us, the New Year is a time for a fresh start and a beginning of another road to travel down, sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes smooth,sometimes bumpy, but through it all, it is a great way to use as a reminder of what has happen to us, when we come to know our Heavenly Father as our Lord and Saviour:

31 But those who wait on the LORD
      Shall renew their strength;
      They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
      They shall run and not be weary,
      They shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31, New King James Version)

As we ring in the New Year, let’s also not forget, that beyond time as we measure as human beings, that in and through Jesus Christ, we already have the hope of a new day.

22 Through the LORD’s mercies we are not consumed,
      Because His compassions fail not.
       23 They are new every morning;
      Great is Your faithfulness.
       24 “ The LORD is my portion,” says my soul,
      “ Therefore I hope in Him!”
       (Lamentations 3:22-24, New King James Version)

If you don’t know Christ or are the fence about becoming Christian, my dear friend, my prayers, and hopes that you will use this New Year to seek Him, to learn about Him and to understand what it means to call Jesus Christ, Your Lord and Saviour and to start this New Year on a firm foundation by becoming a Christian and finding out about a relationship and salvation that no storm can ever overturn.

The blessings, the challenges, the encouragement, it’s all worth this fantastic and exciting journey of knowing our Heavenly Father.

We still faces the challenges of today, but we are strengthened in our joys, our laughter, our disappointments and our tears, through continual hope and promise from our Heavenly Father that:

11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end. (Ecclesiastes 3:11, New King James Version)

God bless you Gentle Readers and it is my prayer and hopes, in this New Year, that our Heavenly Father will bless you and your family; Keep you strong and encouraged and that you are led and challenged and encouraged to seek Him willingly, courageously, with excitement and hunger to read His word, to follow Him in an exciting and challenging journey, to challenge yourself to grow as a Christian and to strive to have a strong and growing relationship with our Heavenly Father.
