You make the blogging world a friendly place!

I was really surprised to find out that Joy of Joy of Desserts gave this to me. It’s been awhile since I had really been blogging and in the meantime, had been going through a bit of writer’s block, and just going through a time of growth in my walk with our Heavenly Father.

Why do I blog?

Blogging, hmmm…it gives me the chance to meet others and learn from them as well as use blogging, as a medium to grow in my faith and relationship with our Father.

That’s the part I really enjoy; Just sharing His word and having fellowship with other sisters (and brothers) in Christ.

In addition, to giving me an outlet to write about the insight and reflections that I am always growing and developing in my walk with our Heavenly Father, it’s always a joy and a journey of growth interacting with others and seeing what otehrs have to share and are gleaning from His word.

In the end, it’s not about me, it’s not really about the blog, but it’s about growing closer in a relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Here are some of the really inspiring freinds and their blogs out there that are just many of the lights that are shining for our Heavenly Father.

*****UPDATED November 17, 2009****

There are SO many better blogs than mine who deserve this award. Really. Sometimes by chance, be it via a Yahoo group I’m in or FB, or another person’s blog, I find myself visiting another blog that, just…well…leaves me feeling…wow…this blog is AMAZING.

Me.

I’m just thankful to our Heavenly Father for His strength and challenge to get out of my comfort zone and be it blogging, or whatever He calls me to and lays on my heart, I’m just happy to be His servant.

So as I come across blogs, that wow, you have to go see why they make the blogging world a friendly place, I pray and hope you take the time to visit them and encourage them as we strive to encourage each other in our walk with our Heavenly Father.

It’s not about competition.

It’s about fellowship.

Thanks for caring. I appreciate it.

Thank you for the award too!

I do hope you’ll drop by my blog again some time!!

PS the anti-spam word is ‘redemption’. Is that co-incidental or did you choose it? If it is the former then that is too cool for words!

That was definetely coincidental! Lol! So many blessings came from today and that is a definetely “PTL” moment there!

You have a very wonderful blog and something I pray and hope, the Gentle Readers, will take the time to find out to learn more about Ambleside and Charlotte Mason.

Good morning friend! How are you!

Thank you, but really, it’s about Him and I give Him praise first and foremost.

This blog doesn’t really deserve the award and doesn’t live up to half of really much better blogs that are out there and I feel really serve Him much better.

Me…I’m just a small nobody, with a love for our Father first and foremost ; It was really a nice surprise but it’s all for Him and about Him and a reminder more and more…it’s less about me…it is all about Him and a reminder…that we are His lighthouses and people watch and we are accountable.

I am nothing without our Heavenly Father, and just His servant and vessel, albeit broken one at that, that just strives to share what He lays on my heart with honesty and transparency and realization, I’m no better than the next person.

I’m grateful to Him, for His loving Grace and Salvation and this blog, really has just been a medium to keep me accountable, knowing that what I say reflects Him and with it the burden that what we say and do, can lead or break people from Christ.

I just keep praying and hoping that the words I share can be encouraging and encourage others to get to know Him and have a closer relationship with Him and to seek His word daily in the Bible.

He really convicted me along time ago, that we shouldn’t be ashamed to share His word and speak His word for many have gone before us and not always on easy roads, but as ambassadors of Christ; it’s not about us, but sharing His word.
