We are using the AO curriculum and for nature study and what I like about them, is that they also have yahoo groups geared for nature study; They break up the study in terms and this term, the study is on mammals.
Lesson Plan Outline:
You can google search and there are different “Mammals” cover pages that you can print for dividers or use this one: learningtreasures.com/mammals_divider.htm
- Mammals chapter from HONS: amblesideonline.org/NatureSch.shtml
- Accompanying coloring book made from different sources regarding animals discussed in HONS;These coloring pages were not made by me but collected and I just put them together to make it easier to print out at once and make multiple copies for the kids; With the next set of coloring pages for birds, I’ll make sure to list the sources then. 4shared.com/file/119362038/1c87656a/HONS_mammal_coloringpages.html
