Going on a Bloggy Sabbatical for awhile

Well…Going to go on a bloggy sabbatical.

It was something I have been fighting , but it’s something that was needed to be done.

“Growing Long Hair” and “Sunday Praise and Worship” will be posted every Friday and Sunday, but in lieu of Mr.Linky, I will just keep it to comments.

I’m at peace with the decision and after prayer and thought, it’s the right thing to do, to step back and not only concentrate fully with family but just really feeling this strong pull and call from our Heavenly Father, to follow Him and right now, blogging or writing isn

For my dear friends and Gentle Readers, I ask, prayfully, that you will keep me in your prayers, for that is something I can really use right now.

Things are good, just going through with a “dry season” and as mention…I just feel this pull from our Heavenly Father to just take some major step backs and really listen to Him and to let Him just lead me wherever it is that He is calling me to be led.

Praise God, for He is in control and He is perfect in what He is calling for me.

When I told my husband, he laughed because he knew there were books I was wanting to post reviews about, and asked if I will still do those. I told him,”Don’t be surprised if those popped up here and there:, but right now…our Heavenly Father, my family and just taking this time to spend reading God’s word and listening to Him, goes first and foremost and of high priority…so does that make this a semi-sabbatical??

Early the next morning Jesus went out to an isolated place. Luke 4:42

So right now…that’s what I’m going to do…rest…pray, focus on family, homeschool and continue to listen to our Heavenly Father and read His work and allow Him to do what He is wanting to do and just trust and have faith in Him.

Looking forward to seeing, reading and participating…but right now…just need to well…bear through this “dry season”; Trust in our Heavenly Father and do what is needed…just listen to Him.

The plus side, is that I will have things to share and write about when I get back…there’s the “Honeymoon” that my dear husband and I are taking…Fourth of July…book reviews and so much more…so keep your eyes and if you havent’ subscribed to Sunflower Faith’s email subscription, please do so to find out and know first, when I get back to original postings.

Starting Memorial weekend, I have the blog ,set to repost my old posts from before, every Monday, my Bible 101 series that I did, so praying friend, that you would be inspired and be challenged and encouraged by our Heavenly Father to take the time, be it for as long as the time as I have planned, or even for a morning, to spend time with Him.

God bless you dear Gentle Readers and thank you for your prayers!

For those who are close and dear, email me! Your words are cherished and love and I will try to respond as often and soon as possible.

“Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.”–Psalms 27:14
