Dogs and Plants just don't mix

Earlier this week, I had posted this picture and unfortunately, the backyard has become the scene of unfortunate events as my dear Murphy, has decided, he IS a vegetarian and proceeded to uprooted, well…all of my bell pepper plants.

We were able to save two of them, but one of them, unfortunately had become so much of a chew, that it was beyond rescue and we are having to rethink ways to protect the survivors.

One of the things we may have to invest in, it seems, is a plant stand.

Hubby wanted to put a temporary fence around the containers that we can take down and move when we need to move the plants, but I just don’t really think that is a good idea (mostly because of having to move the fence around, couple with when the plants get bigger and just really, a plant stand makes so much more sense).

God bless my dear husband, he means well, but really, a plant stand; So much easier and less labor intensive.

Lol.

In the meantime, as for the pepper plant, I guess I now know that a dachshund can’t resist a bell pepper plant.
