Growing Long Hair Challenge Update-Olive Oil sounds interesting

Written by: Twinkle Mom

.

My husband brought up the idea about me trying olive oil in my hair so of course, I googled, and came across this site ,”How to repair your hair with Olive Oil“,that shared an idea of how to use olive oil as a treatment for hair.

This sounded like a good idea to try (the olive oil) and I am thinking, I may try this, this coming week and see how it works…or I just may use the olive oil  for cooking.

If you have been thinking of growing your hair long or already trying, feel free to post a comment and a link to your blog. I , and others, would love to hear from you, particularly on ideas of how you keep motivated to grow your hair long, tips to keeping your hair long and strong (it’s a given to stay away from scissors, lol) and just offer encouragement.

Leave a link in “Mr.Linky” and don’t forget to post a comment (Mr.Linky is acting weird and won’t work unless I chose the option that requires a link and comment so just a link to your blog would be fine).

If you are just finding out about this for the first time, drop by my post here to read more about the challenge and grab the linkback button that is below if you would like to participate.

I have tried the olive oil before and it works the same…..just more expensive than the coconut oil. Let me know how it works for you!  (Quote)

I dropped by your post update before replying and wow…I hope everyone drops by your site and sees the photos you posted of the long hair; Talk about inspiring and encouraging…Very healthy looking and just something I pray our Heavenly Father will bless me with, though just keeping up the will not to use scissors is always a plus…lol  (Quote)

i used to do this a lot.. it was like a “hot oil” treatment.. made my hair softer, but not sure it did anything else!  (Quote)

The coconut oil has been pretty good (and smells good as well), but I’m going to try the olive oil just to see. With my luck, the olive oil probrably just make me hungry for salad. LOL  (Quote)
