I’m not surprised if I haven’t received this from many people or Gentle Readers by now. Lol!

Since the hurricane and with the full swing of homeschooling, most of my time has been taken up with schooling and then catching up with non-school errands.
As time went on and I actually realized the need to take the time to re-organize my dayplanner to suit the change in life, it also meant catching up on email and just catching up with dear friends and even family that I had lost touched with in the past months.
The absence and just working to better manage my time, made me reflect so much on our Heavenly Father and how easy it is ourselves to get lost in spending time with Him.
I realize that I missed just blogging like I did, and more than anything, I missed the time I spent with Him and reading His word and realized that as busy as I was with homeschooling and taking care of every day life, that I was neglecting as well, my spiritual life with our Heavenly Father.
We are all entering that time of year where the holidays are slowly creeping around the corner and the rush to prepare for the holidays will begin, but in the process, it is a time we need to make extra sure that just as much as we go over our holiday lists and begin to get into that holiday mode, that we don’t forget to take the time to spend with our Father too and not forget Him.
This is a fitting verse I feel that when we are absent, just as we pray and hope we are not lost in the thoughts of others, that we don’t get lost in the thoughts of our Heavenly Father.
Life does happen where we get so busy and caught up we forget, accidently or not and it’s with prayer and hopes that we remember that we need to make time just as our Heavenly Father makes time and nothing is too big or too small for Him.
Lord, I pray that in our daily lives, in no matter what the circumstances are, that we don’t forget You, Heavenly Father. I pray for Your strength and Your love and just help us do what we can not do ourselves, but what we need YOU to do, which is to make time in our lives and not get so caught up that we get needlessly swept away.

Beautiful verse to capture your life’s circumstances. Be blessed.
Very, very beautiful.. the picture, the scripture and the message.
Happy WFW!
Awesome to see you, my friend! Thanks for sharing this lovely WFW reminder. While I was sick with The Cold that Morphed into The Sinus Infection with a Hint of Bronchitis and Ear Infections, I neglected my time with the Lord. He woke me early for it this morning and I am back on track! Happy WFW!
So very lovely.
Wow, what a lovely verse you have chosen this week…so so smart to resonate it with your circumstance!

Hey sweetie! I’m sorry I haven’t visited in so long. Your blog looks great.
How’s the homeschooling going? This is our first year and it’s going well so far (not that we don’t have our struggles now and then.)
