Dog Lover Blog Award
Peggy of AMAZING GRACE~Mazes, Messes, Miracles, gave my two dogs, Murphy and Buster, the Dog Lover Blog award. She is so sweet and that was a great pick me upper.
I literally have felt like I almost dropped off the face of the earth and the text messages from friends and emails have been a great help just keeping me connected and distracted from everything that is still going on.
I know, Buster and Murphy, really appreciates having this pick me upper due to being not to happy with us (sorry guys but we had to), keeping them on leashes but until the fence was repaired, Buster exhibit too much of a “Born Free” mentality…
Ever tried catching a moving dachshund? Not fun. Not fun. Who needs going to aerobics when you can chase a fast moving, tail wagging, weenie dog instead?
In turn, I have to give this award to several people that I can think of off hand and I know I’m going to forget a lot so please blame mommy brains for that.
- Melly of Mini-Pauses
- Pam of Beyond the Red Door
- Amydeanne of “160 Acre Woods”, if you haven’t seen her new family members…GO CHECK AND SEE THEM.
- Any of you with a bloggy and a doggy…consider this award yours!! Just link to me and let me know so I can be dragged to your blog by my own doggies to see your site!!
Thank you again dear Peggy!!

10 days ago you visited me to tell me that you were finally getting around…whew. I thought this would make you feel a little better to see someone else struggling at trying to catch up! My apologies for not having had a chance to comment or get back & I really thought I had…but clearly there are no signs of me commenting here so… without further ado…CONGRATULATIONS!!! Buster & Murphy…with everything that you all have been through…you needed much more than a sweet award to tell you YOU’RE LOVED!
Thanks for your humor approach to dealing with catching a weeney! Oh how I remember!
Praying that I never have to end up without my enclosed area for my dogs…I keep one on a chain outside but only if I’m not out with them. The rest all run freely! And you are right, trying to catch them when they have that born-free mentality is a true fitness/aerobic test! I loved it! I really do want your spirit lifted cuz you have been under such heavy circumstances…but prayers do help! Hope you are doing better!
I skimmed a few of your posts since this and hope I just get caught up so I can enjoy once more. Bless you for passing the award on to new people to me except Amydeanne, who I gave also at the same time I passed it on to you! All bloggies with doggies do deserve it and I’m sure they love their dogs like we do! With all you’ve dealt with, I now really have a deep appreciation for you taking the time to post & pass it on!
THANKS & BE BLESSED & COVERED IN PRAYERS! Peggy
