Change is the hardest thing for anyone to deal with, but it happens.
With our Heavenly Father, though our world changes around us and goes through our ups and downs, He is always there and Praise God, for He is a God who never changes but is the same today as He was yesterday and He will be tomorrow.

However, there are times when we have to learn to accept the changes in our lives that we can’t control and rather than try and fight it, give it to God and allow Him to guide us through those changes in lives.
Growing old. Health changes. Children grow. Weather changes and our circumstances changes.
There is really few things in our lives that we can truly control such as our willingness to work with changes rather than against it.
It would be great to be young forever, or for our children to forever be innocent. It would be great that each visit to the doctor is the same, or we turn on the television and nothing has changed, but the reality that we live in a world where every day is filled with uncertainity.
Right now, I’m just NOW relaxing that there is nothing to worry about an somewhere out there is another hurricane looming. People are returning to their homes in Lousiana only to be greeted with news they may have to leave again.
We can’t control that, but we can control who we let be in control of all those changes in our lives. We could try it ourselves and find ourselves always frustrated and worry, or we could truly trust God and just hand it over to Him to deal with.
So I guess I get to start getting things ready in case we have to evacuate. There’s another wrinkle that is spotted. Maybe it’s a grey hair…or the leaves are starting to fall and that garden was never plowed as hope for.
It’s okay…because no matter what…God IS in control. Trust Him. Have Faith in Him. Give Him the control and just enjoy the changes.

Wow… I absolutely love what you did for WFW… your creativity is amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Hope all is well, dear friend. Did you get a good doctor’s report? I need to catch up on emails. Hope you stay safe from the storm.

Hello dear sister,
I’m praying for you and your family! We’re in TX too, but further north of you. Ike was supposed to hit here, but God caused the hurricane to veer east of us. Now, we’re praying God will grant the same mercy He’s given us to those who are now in Ike’s path.
I look forward to visiting your blog again! I’m so glad to have found you!
Oh, and I agree, I very much dislike change and am not very good at it at all. So, I really loved the reminder God gave you to encourage the rest of us “stay-the-samers”.
Bless you sister,
Sunny
