"Tag" from Thirsty for Him

….and for something light! Lol; Tracy from “Thirsty for Him” tagged me for this really neat meme and I am so glad to finally be able to get to it. Tracy, I’m sorry it took me awhile, but I’m here (and btw, everyone check out her blog…it is beautiful and inspiring).

Here we go…The meme (from Evan’s Garden)

Here are the rules for this one:

1. Pick up the nearest book.

2. Open to page 123.

3. Find the fifth sentence.

4. Post the next three sentences.

5. Tag five people, and acknowledge who tagged you.

The closest book I have near me is the NLT version of the bible; I also have the NIV, KJV and NKJV; I just find that having different versions are so helpful when a particular verse or passage strikes me and I can use them to explore them further.

The three sentences that I found are:

Deuteronomy 26:12
Every third year you must offer a special tithe of your crops. In this year of the special tithe you must give your tithes to the Levites, foreigners, orphans, and widows, so that they will have enough to eat in your towns.
