Beginning "Love and Respect" By Dr. Emerson

For a long while now, I’ve been seeing reviews and posts about this book, popping up in different blogs that I’ve recently.Curious, I was at a crossroads about rather or not to get the book until when we started attending our local church group and lo and behold, they were watching the “Love and Respect” dvd.

I have to be honest, that I was really impressed by what I saw and had hoped to be able to get a copy from the library, but due to a very sweet friend, Laurie of “A Magnolia’s Heartbeats“, I have my own copy.

Everything is very scriptural base; Nothing demeaning on either side and really helps bring a real world, down to earth understanding of where we are both coming from; It’s not going to guarentee to “fix” things and it helps when in addition to reading a book like this, opening our hearts to each other and more than anything, calling to God to be the central focus of our marriages, our hearts and our lives and to change us by allowing Him in us and through us, to be the motivator in all we do.
It’s been sitting by my bedside for awhile now, but it is something I really want to read and would like to share your thoughts and comments about. If you are looking for a good read to share with Sunflower Faith, If you have a copy or had been interested in reading this book, let’s commit together to read this book.
