Gentle Readers,
Hello and God Bless You!
I pray that you were able to find this site without a problem!
For the past week, while taking care of my daily errands and duties as a wife and a mother I often would contemplate about the first post here.
Wow.
What am I going to write?
On top of that, as many of you may have found out by now, I’m now a contributing writer to the Internet Cafe Devotions and I am so grateful to our Heavenly Father for blessing Lori and Amy for taking over the reigns to keep it running; I praise God that He has blessed the Internet Cafe and the women, the site has reached out to and was very humbled and extremely shocked to be invited to participate with, what I feel, are more accomplished and well-versed writers, to them and to God, I am very humbled and in deeply in awe and appreciation for being asked to be a part of the Internet Cafe Devotions fresh new start.
So yes,It’s an exciting week and keeps getting exciting.
That brings me back to what do I write about?
I think about the devotion I had written for the Internet Cafe Devotions and it really hit me that the bottom line, what better and what else to naturally write about but, Him,Himself-God.
Lord, I thank You for opening doors for and with me and for the journey that has grown from what started out as a walk with You, Lord.
Thank You Lord that along the way, in our walk, You have blessed me with lessons in humility, lessons in what my weaknesses and my strengths are, lessons in devotion and lessons in faith and trust. Lord, don’t stop. I call out to You, Lord, don’t stop.
Humble this unworthy servant of Yours and bless these hands, this heart, this soul so I may serve You in the ways You continue to see fit and not mine; I thank You Lord for the small blessings You send my way and I pray You teach me to respect what You give and to in turn, give to others as a reminder of not only what You have done for me, but what You do for others.
Lord, this is a new stage in my walk with You, and I thank You and humble myself beneath Your mighty throne and I forever call out to You, Lord: Use me Use me, Use this broken vessel. I am NOTHING, without You Lord and rebuke me, remind me, redeem me to serve You better each day Lord.
I give this blog to You, Lord, for You to use as YOU see fit and pray Father, that You will continue to use this broken vessal as a testament to Your Great Love and Power. Lord, Thank You so much.
Lord, today I’m away from this blog today because You have called me to step out in obedience to Your word and to publically confess that You are Lord and Saviour that was so long in the making and I praise You Lord and I thank you Lord for the Damascus Road that led me to You; You can save a wretch like me, You can save anyone who truly has accepted You as their Lord and as their Saviour.
You have done so much with my life and I thank You Lord and I thank You for Your humbling of this woman, of this soul. I needed You ,Lord and You answered, and I thank You ,Lord, that You didn’t give up on me like You don’t give up to anyone.
Friends.I give you, today, Sunflower Faith. A new blog, a new site, a new beginning.
